& Grief Resources
These incredible organizations and individuals are supporting the One Death in Seven Doorways team and Audience to have a full experience beyond the theater, into their own lives. They are also fantastic resources for grief and loss.
Dougy Center for Children and Families who are Grieving will be hosting post-show conversations with audience members about grief and loss. Dougy Center was a great personal support to Licity when her mother died, and she was invited to be a guest on their “Grief Out Loud” podcast. (Link below)
The mission of Dougy Center is to provide grief support in a safe place where children, teens, young adults, and their families can share their experiences before and after a death. They provide support and training locally, nationally, and internationally to individuals and organizations seeking to assist children who are grieving.
