CONNECTED CONVERSATIONS
ONE DEATH IN SEVEN DOORWAYS is about connection.
On on October 16, 2027, which is the second performance of the show, communities around the world will be hosting Connected Conversations about grief, loss, and death.
Join this ritual by hosting a Connected Conversation in your community, in your living room, on your group chat, or any place you gather. Each host will receive a Connected Conversation Guidance Kit which includes a segment from the opera to read out loud, supportive flow-state music to play in the background, a supply list, and a suggested guide for your Conversation. The logistics are kept simple so that each conversation can be a peaceful and fluid space.

As with grief, there are no formulas, no expectations. Being present is the most important thing. No group is too small. There is no right or wrong. In creating this space, we change the isolation that has silenced our cultural experience with grief. We enact a new way of being with grief—by being together. This puts the them of One Death In Seven Doorways into living practice: “In each of us is all of us.”
